TRANSFORMING LOW-GRADE WASTE HEAT INTO RESILIENT, REVOLUTIONARY ELECTRICITY
The TEHC is scalable based on the amount of waste output from any wastewater treatment facility from 5 to 250+ tons per day. This system helps the communities they are deployed in by eliminating the cost and carbon emissions of waste transported to landfills helping the facility reach net-zero landfilling goals, and by creating value-added on-site clean renewable energy, and biochar.
EthosGen’s advanced HVAC system, EthosCool, unleashes the capabilities of advanced materials with a heat transfer loop employed to produce cooling from wasted heat that would otherwise have been lost to the environment.
This next-generation system leverages advanced sorbent materials and hot water vapor is put in a vacuum and when it attaches to the adsorbent, it evaporates due to being in a vacuum causing the sorbent to cool down creating a cooling effect.
Our product employs a compressorless HVAC system in order to transform low grade heat to cooling for numerous scenarios. We can employ the EthosCool technology to: Geothermal, Biomass, Maritime, Water incineration and Gasification, Liquid Fuel Generators, Gas and Diesel engines, Commercial and Industrial Process Waste heat, and many more industries.
This product is carbon-free, zero-emission technology which automatically provides added incentives for grants so it’s a win-win. Our modular and scalable device comes in 5, 10, and 15 ton systems to be applied where it’s most applicable based on the amount of waste heat. This is extremely efficient because it is on-site cooling that’s re-used energy and allows for lower costs.
Our cooling technology uses a system where we have a heat transfer loop employed and refrigerant flow attached to it. It takes water to the condenser which sends the cooling water to sea, while taking the heat to the evaporator and producing cooling and returning to the system. Lastly, to optimize the cooling in each scenario, we utilize an IoT sensors to collect real-time data in order to change based on variable heat sources.
